A Love Story That Began at Northwestern
Angela and Grant’s journey started over six years ago at a Northwestern University sorority formal.
From that moment on, their connection was undeniable. Now living in New York City with their adorable Maltese, Pongo, they are the definition of a fun-loving, low-key couple who are clearly obsessed with each other. From Central Park to Annapolis: The Journey to “I Do”
My time with Angela and Grant began long before their wedding day.
Their engagement session took place in the Central Park Row Boats, setting the tone for the romance and elegance that would follow. When it came time for their wedding, they took their love story to Annapolis, Maryland, where they celebrated at the breathtaking Brittland Estate.
Coastal Garden Party Meets High-Fashion Chic
What started as a vision for a "Coastal Garden Party" evolved into something even more elevated—a blend of high-fashion sophistication wrapped in an intimate, backyard setting.
The wedding design embraced earthy, organic hues of blues, greens, and whites, accented by the warm glow of candlelight at the reception. It was the perfect fusion of effortless elegance and stylish refinement.
A Morning in the Dreamiest Estate
Angela and Grant’s day began within the stunning hallways of Brittland Estate.
The rooms, adorned with intricate wallpaper and flooded with natural light, set the perfect backdrop for their getting-ready moments. As a photographer, venues with impeccable personality always stand out to me, and Brittland was no exception. Another favorite garden-inspired wedding I’ve captured was Leigh and Derek’s at Strong Mansion—there’s something about these charming, nature-filled spaces that makes for pure magic.
Waterfront Vows & Poolside Cocktails
The ceremony took place at the water’s edge, where Angela and Grant exchanged heartfelt vows with the most picturesque view in the background.
From there, guests strolled through a sprawling field to arrive at a chic, poolside cocktail hour—an effortlessly cool transition into the evening’s festivities. Just steps away, their reception tent, set up by Eastern Shore Tents, awaited on a spacious patio, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.
Three Looks, One Unforgettable Celebration
Angela made a statement with not one, but three incredible wedding looks.
Each outfit was more stunning than the last, embodying the high-fashion sophistication she had envisioned. As the night progressed, Angela and Grant danced under the glowing reception lights, surrounded by their closest friends and family, making memories that would last a lifetime.
