Olivia and Zach’s love story began in 2015 when they met during Olivia’s freshman year at UC Davis. Years later, their shared love for adventure led them to the Azores Islands in Portugal, where they hiked through breathtaking landscapes—culminating in a romantic mountaintop proposal.
A garden venue as a blank canvas
From the moment Olivia saw Glenstone, she knew it was the perfect setting.
The garden aesthetic spoke to her, offering a blank slate to create something uniquely personal. With its lush greenery and open-air elegance, the venue naturally lent itself to a celebration that felt organic yet artfully curated.
A bridal look with timeless charm
For Olivia, elegance was key.
She envisioned herself in lace - timeless, chic, and effortlessly beautiful. As a longtime fan of Prada, she chose a blue Prada heel for her "something blue," blending classic bridal style with a modern, personal touch. Zach complemented her vision with an effortlessly refined look, striking the perfect balance between classic and contemporary.
A ceremony filled with emotion
Walking down the aisle was the only moment Olivia felt nervous all day.
But as she stood beside Zach, surrounded by their closest friends and family, the nerves melted away. The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, set against a backdrop of nature that made every moment feel even more special.
A celebration of color

Color played a defining role in the design, and with Kylie from Vida Events at the helm as both coordinator and designer, Olivia and Zach’s vision came to life. Leaning into the existing beauty of the gardens, Kylie incorporated bright florals, bold table linens, and unexpected details—like a whimsical garden umbrella. Every element felt joyful and vibrant, enhancing the already stunning surroundings.
For Olivia and Zach, the wedding was all about embracing bold choices. From the custom flooring they had specially shipped in to the standout stationery by Allison of Wildwood, every design element was intentional.
A dance floor that never emptied
If there was one must-have, it was an unforgettable dance floor.
Olivia wanted every guest fully immersed in the music, and that's exactly what happened. From the first song to the last, the energy was magnetic—everyone was singing, dancing, and never wanting the night to end.
Olivia and Zach’s wedding was a masterclass in personal, intentional design.
