Emily and Alex’s elegant engagement was such an enchanting experience. Set at the luxurious St. Regis in Washington, DC, this cinematic session was a captivating blend of old Hollywood glamour and timeless elegance.
From the moment that I met them, Emily and Alex’s love was so evident. It was a privilege to capture it on camera as they softly smiled at one another and stood wrapped in each other’s arms. I especially enjoyed the shot I took of Alex at the piano and Emily leaning in to listen, it made for such a dreamy picture of their love.
Chic Wardrobe + Stunning Scenery
These two sweethearts encapsulated the romance of an old, timeless Hollywood theme. Dressed in striking black – Emly in an off-shoulder gown and heels, and Alex in a dashing tuxedo, this couple effortlessly stole the show. I loved Emily’s simple choice in accents and Alex’s choice of jewelry. Emily wore a sparkling diamond bracelet and necklace that she paired with pearl earrings and Alex sported a classic silver watch.
The St. Regis provided the perfect setting for this glamorous engagement shoot. Both Emily and Alex wanted a sophisticated session to memorialize their love – and the St. Regis did not fail to deliver. With its high arched detailed ceiling, cascading red curtains, and mesmerizing light fixtures, the St. Regis was the sublime choice for their romantic engagement.
